Thermal transfer printing is the most widely used method for barcode label printing.
It’s suitable when you need to print some additional pieces of information on the label. It allows to easily write production date, lot number, etc.
Additional information is able to have transferred from the print strip to the surface of the label with the heat energy or the thermal head and this creates a print image.
There are two types of labels as Eco Thermal and Laminated Thermal. Eco thermal label is used instantaneous use such as scale label, meat label, bank label, cash label, etc. It is also known as instant print label. Laminated thermal label is used when the information needed to stay on the label longer and readable. It is frequently used as delicatessen label, vegetable and fruit labels, etc.
It can be produced printed in up to 6 colors or unprinted form.
